Self-taught pianist, with a troubled life course, Benjamin Clementine grew inspired by figures such as Leonard Cohen.
After performing in BBC2’s television show “Later…with Jools Holland” in 2013 he became the most shared artist in Spotify, received the “Best New Act” in Les Victoires de la Musique, sold out shows around Europe and the USA, opened for artists such as Cat Power, Tune -Yards or Woodkid and played major summer festivals such as the Wilderness Festival curated by Bjork and David Byrne’s Meltdown Festival.
